DESCRIPTION

For the conceptualization of the work we have worked with physical and mathematical principles that we have been able to bring to our field through metaphysical interpretations of the Universe. The magic of quantum physics allows us to wander in concepts that are not very tangible and open to interpretation.

The interesting thing about the duality of light is not that it can behave as a wave or as a particle, but rather that this behavior depends on the point of view of the observer. A quantum reality that inspires us to wander between reality and fiction.

Through this artistic intervention we want to invite attendees to reflect on the behavior of the physical world and the influence we exert on it.

Balance is an interactive light installation of neutral light that illuminates a white wall. It consists of an aluminum bar about two meters long and a LED strip on the back. Balance uses light as the main element and gives it values typical of particle physics. In this way we can observe the weight of light and how it obeys the laws of gravity. This installation based on duality uses light as an interactive element, inviting users to rotate the installation to discover the behavior of light.

We represent the duality of light using the lighting that we perceive in the form of a wave but behaving as a corpuscle. We represent the duality of light using the lighting that we perceive in the form of a wave but behaving as a corpuscle.

This Installation leads us to reflect on the balance of energy and matter in the universe, another duality that is balanced together with dark matter to achieve harmony.
